わかばコスモだより

we did not go to the park because of rain. it was so windy too. so we played in the school. today we played the 'restaurant game' 

some of our students played the role as a waiter and some were the customers.

it was really wonderful day :)

The weather is being strange today, super rainy this morning, but kind of sunny later on,

I didn`t want to risk going to the park and then get caught in another down pour.

so we did our lessons and played inside again today.

The kids have been enjoying the blocks, future engineers in the making.

Another rainy day, it seems such a long time since I took the kids to the park.

I meet our new student today, and he is a very bright boy, who very quickly pick up the phonic sounds,

he will do very well at his lessons.

But playing inside our room quickly becomes very messy, and then kids just decide to move to the next room to play.

it is certainly true that learning with songs and rhymes is a very efficient method of learning.

today, we started to learn the names of the body parts.

the kids were showing their body part while they were singing a rhyme about body parts.

today's lesson was so enjoyable.

we made lots of origami today.. the kids enjoyed a lot when they were playing with papers.

the kids have learnt a lot of basic conversational talks.

it feels great when they respond in english..

today, the kids had a wonderful day at school. they are very attentive during the study time.

after completing our lesson kids drew lots of shapes and also danced with the songs.

they also enjoyed wearing their rabbit masks. they were so happy about the fact that they have made the masks by themselves.

Today we had a vistor stay with us most of the morning, and he happily joined in with the other kids, and we play lots of games and all had lots of fun.

So much fun in fact, that during story time the wee boy fell asleep in my lap. :)

some of the older kids were practicing their music.

OH NO!     another wet cold day!

And all the Sakura are losing their blossoms, which is a bit sad I think.

So another day were we have to stay at school. I don`t think the kids mind to much as there is alway prenty of thing to play with.

But it will be great to be able to go to the park again. 

Today the kids had spagetti for lunch, and it was Yummy!
